Magnolias Rum Punch

This is my version of the Jamaican rum punch they serve at one of my favorite places to vacation The Round Hill Resort. It is served at almost all summer gatherings here at The Windy Willow Farm.

makes about one dozen 6 ounce cocktails

4 cups Appleton Special Jamaican Rum
3 cups pineapple juice
2 cups Meyer’s dark rum
1 cup peach schnapps
1 cup triple sec
1 cup Rose’s lime juice
ice cubes
maraschino cherries, for garnish

Combine all of the ingredients except the ice and cherries in a large pitcher or mason jar. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or up to 4 hours. To prepare a batch, fill a large cocktail shaker about halfway with ice cubes. Pour the rum mixture over the ice cubes, shake vigorously, and strain into cocktail glasses. Put a cherry in each glass. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
